We are at the forefront when it comes to phasing out fossil-based raw materials. There are many applications in which ethanol can replace oil in plastics! Plastics come in many different varieties, such as packs of various types made of polyethylene. Polyethylene is based on fossil oil which could be replaced by our ethanol instead. We are not there yet, but our Innovation Department constantly keeps an eye on technical development to find new applications for our products.
